The yarn used for this item was purchased from UrbanGypZ's website from a line called, "Helping a Sister Out". This line of yarn and fibers comes from a fair trade collective in Nepal. All of the products are hand spun from recycled fibers. Sales of the beautiful yarn and fibers created by these women help them earn a livable wage and support their community.

If you have severe allergies to metal, then it may be best to avoid recycled sari silk and banana silk yarns since there may be metal threads present.
