The yarn used for this item was purchased from UrbanGypZ's website from a line called, "Helping a Sister Out". This line of yarn and fibers comes from a fair trade collective in Nepal. All of the products are hand spun from recycled fibers. Sales of the beautiful yarn and fibers created by these women help them earn a livable wage and support their community.

If you have severe allergies to metal, then it may be best to avoid recycled sari silk and banana silk yarns since there may be metal threads present.

For those of you that have a page on etsy I wanted to ask you how do you got sales?   I wanted to ask you how did you get your first sale? What steps did you take to entice people to not only look at you page but make a purchase? Am I expecting too much since people think of knit wear for the winter and fall?
